AIOPs Implementation Specialist

Role description:

An AIOps Implementation Specialist is responsible for deploying and integrating AI-driven operations (AIOps) solutions within an organization's IT infrastructure. This role focuses on automating and enhancing IT operations through artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to improve efficiency, predict issues, and resolve incidents.

Regular tasks and key responsibilities:

  • Solution Deployment: Install and configure AIOps tools and platforms in the organization's environment.
  • Integration: Integrate AIOps solutions with existing IT systems, tools, and processes.
  • Data Management: Ensure proper data collection, cleansing, and preparation for AI models.
  • Model Training: Train and fine-tune machine learning models for anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and automation.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor AIOps systems for performance and accuracy, making necessary adjustments.
  • Incident Management: Automate incident detection, root cause analysis, and remediation processes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT operations, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption of AIOps.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for implementations, processes, and best practices.
  • Training: Provide training and support to IT staff on using AIOps tools and technologies.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, IT operations, and AIOps tools.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Java.
  • Data Handling: Experience with data management, analysis, and visualization.

  • Communication: Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in AIOps, AI, or IT operations are a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • Five years of experience as a developer, software engineer, or data scientist
  • Prior experience in IT operations, AI/ML implementation, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with dedicated AIOps platforms and tools (e.g., Moogsoft, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.) and AIOps functionalities available in ITSM platforms of BMC and ServiceNow.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent is beneficial
  • Topical courses and certifications in IT operations AI/ML implementation will be a great advantage
