Role overview

We engage Data Analyst and Reporting Experts on a seasonal, part-time B2B subcontracting basis to support boutique consulting engagements focused on management reporting, KPI frameworks, and business performance analytics.

This role is delivery-focused and suited for senior professionals who can work independently and deliver client-ready reporting solutions in a modern analytics environment.

Scope of work

• Work together with principal consultants to analyze complex deliverables, defining performance measures for critical business outcomes, and methods for collecting, integrating, and managing performance data.
• Advanced data analysis and structured reporting using Power BI and Excel 
• Design and delivery of management and executive dashboards 
• Definition, calculation, and reporting of KPIs and business performance metrics 
• Business process performance analysis and insight generation
• Development of automated and repeatable reporting solutions 
• Data transformation, modeling, and preparation for reporting
• Clear documentation of reporting logic and metric definitions

Required expertise — Must-have

• Senior experience as a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or BI Analyst 
• Extensive, hands-on expertise in:
  • Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power BI Service) 
  • Excel (advanced) including Power Pivot and modern dynamic formulas   
• Strong, practical experience with:
  • Power Query (M language) for data transformation and reporting pipelines 
  • Management reporting, KPI frameworks, and performance measurement   
• Understanding of business processes and operational performance drivers 
• Ability to work independently in a consulting-style delivery model 
• Professional working proficiency in English 
• Availability within the EU 

Additional skills — Nice-to-have

• Office Scripts (TypeScript-based) for modern Excel automation and integration with Power Automate 
• Experience designing automated reporting solutions in Microsoft 365 environments 
• VBA for legacy Excel automation and advanced workbook logic 
• Experience in boutique consulting, B2B, or professional services environments 
• Familiarity with data governance and reporting standards 
• Office Scripts and Power Query preferred for new automation and reporting solutions
• VBA is required for existing Excel-based solutions, not as a primary development approach
